Expect a history-focused walk with time for questions, photos, and local stories.

“The walking tour was, simply, AMAZING! Best walking tour in Sighișoara and can't recommend it enough. A lovely, small, local company with two guides who are extremely knowledgeable and take the time to expertly teach you about the history of the citadel. Every question asked was answered, detours were made to answer specific questions for guests, and our guide was in no rush and even went over time to ensure we saw everything!! It was also incredibly sweet how all the locals knew each other as we walked around, our guide taking the time to say hello and vice versa. An absolute must if you want a truly in-depth tour…”

Sighisoara: Candlelight Tour of Dracula’s Home Town

2.Candlelight Tour of Dracula’s Home Town

★★★★★★★★★★4.6 · 83 reviews · 2 hours · from $44

Walk Sighisoara’s medieval citadel at evening with guide Cosmina, tracing Saxon history, Vlad Tepes, the Clock Tower, Church on the Hill, city walls, and Dracula’s birthplace. Expect about two hours of walking on steep, uneven streets. The tour ends with local restaurant and bar suggestions.

“Cosmina was lovely and very knowledgeable regarding the citadel and the history of Transylvania. Don't be expecting to hear or see too much regarding the legend of Dracula. We had already done the majority of the walk just by looking around that afternoon so if you're low on time, I wouldn't bother.”
